A bit about

HOOK & NEEDLE...

Hook and Needle began as a one-woman dream – just me, Alicia. Crocheting each piece by hand, stitch by stitch, pouring hours of care into every creation. As the little brand grows I have streamlined my products to produce small-batch amounts of the pieces you love. We don't hold much stock, but what we do have is heirloom quality.

About Us:

Hook & Needle creates exceptionally unique, 100% natural baby products, lovingly crafted in Edinburgh, UK. My crochet journey began in early 2020, sparked by the quiet stillness of the pandemic. With time on my hands and a desire to create, I immersed myself in mastering the art of crochet, practicing tirelessly until a distinctive style—and a brand—began to take shape.

What started as a pastime has evolved into a luxurious collection of natural, handmade pieces that are not only beautiful but gentle on delicate skin and kind to the environment. Creativity has always been at the centre of my work. Before founding Hook & Needle, I studied Graphic Design at the University of Portsmouth, followed by postgraduate studies in digital media—skills that now help me shape and grow the brand with intention and artistry.

Hook & Needle continues to gain recognition and has been proudly featured in publications such as British Vogue. As a small business, I remain dedicated to crafting sustainable, heirloom-quality baby clothes and accessories. Every item is thoughtfully designed, made from premium materials, and built to last—through adventures, snuggles, and even future generations.
